Tamar Braxton is an American singer and TV personality whose music career began in 1990 as a member of The Braxtons, an R&B group formed with sisters Traci, Trina, Towanda, and Toni Braxton. They released their debut album So Many Ways in 1996 but broke up soon afterward. In 2000, Tamar Braxton released a self-titled solo album, followed by a second album, Love and War, in 2013. Other albums include Calling All Lovers and Bluebird of Happiness. During her music career, Tamar has won a BET Award and three Soul Train Music Awards; she has also been nominated for four Grammy Awards. TV-wise, Tamar was featured with her sisters and mother on the We TV reality series Braxton Family Values. From 2013-16, she served as a co-host on The Real. In 2019, she won Celebrity Big Brother.
